About the event
The Beach Ed course offers practical water skills and safety education in a real beach setting, tailored for students from Year 0 to 8 (ages 5 to 13). If you have children outside this age range, please get in touch, and we can discuss options with Surf Lifesaving NZ.
What to Expect:
Hands-on learning through clubhouse, beach, and water activities.
Key life-saving skills, including how to identify and escape rip currents.
Engaging and safe ocean activities guided by fully qualified Surf Lifeguards.
Learning aligns with the principles and competencies of The New Zealand Curriculum and Water Skills for Life.
